Survival in the “Double Life” Zone
Attachment Theory is a psychological, evolutionary, and ethological construct concerning relationships between humans.
The most important tenet of it is that a young child needs to develop a relationship with at least one primary caregiver for social and emotional development to occur normally.
The theory was formulated by psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, John Bowlby.
It’s bottom line is if the child has no relationship with either caregiver, that person would be better off in the company of wolves.
Now it’s making sense.
